The Mazzone Award Task Force invites Primary Members, Life and Honorary Members, and members of the Task Force to submit nominations for the 2024 Mazzone Distinguished Service Award by June 14, 2024.

Nominations may be emailed to Kitty Farias at kfarias@naspo.org.

Nomination Instructions:

To assist the Task Force with its selection, please answer the questions below along with providing your nominee’s email address.

This is your opportunity to advocate for your nominee. Your responses do not need to be lengthy, but they should be specific with examples and “paint a picture” of the extraordinary character of the nominee. • How has the nominee demonstrated career-long, sustained advancement of professionalism in procurement activities?
  • How has the nominee shown “personal and professional dedication to effective, lawful and sound procurement principles?”
  • How has the nominee contributed to the professionalism of public procurement?
  • Has the nominee actively participated in mentoring or support of peers in the procurement profession? If so, how?
  • How has the nominee demonstrated a commitment to continual improvement, both in developing new skills and seeking opportunities to improve procurement practices more broadly?
  • How does the nominee inspire others?
  • How might this award promote the nominee’s continued contributions?
  • What is the nominee’s history of activities/involvement with NASPO?
  • Is there anything else that you would like to tell us about the nominee?
