NASPO ValuePoint is pleased to announce the awarding of contracts to 13 suppliers for its new Electric Vehicle Charging Station Portfolio. Established through NASPO’s Emerging Markets initiative, this portfolio was led by the state of Maryland to help provide public entities nationwide with electric vehicle charging options, addressing the growing demand for EV charging infrastructure.
The portfolio offers a wide array of supplier, manufacturer, and product options for Level 2 and Level 3 DC Fast Charge EV charging stations, along with value-add services including installation, maintenance, repair, training, and software support. The contracts are structured to allow for the easy addition of new technologies and devices as the market evolves, ensuring public entities can stay at the forefront of this rapidly advancing field.

The effective date of the Master Agreement is June 1, 2024, through the lead state of Maryland, and the contracts are now available for use by state governments, institutions of higher education, political subdivisions, the District of Columbia, territories of the United States, and other eligible entities, subject to approval by individual state procurement directors and compliance with local statutory and regulatory provisions. The expiration date is May 31, 2027, and possible renewal limit is through May 31, 2029.
