Description: This Procurement U online course is designed to provide public procurement professionals with an understanding of common risk-mitigation techniques in procurement. The course discusses options when developing a risk response, including contract terms and conditions, as well as considerations for tracking risk during the life of a project.
It is recommended that learners complete both courses in the Risk Management series to build an awareness of risk management activities undertaken throughout the procurement or project cycle.
This course is a web-based training that is self-paced. Given the length, you are encouraged to take the course in small segments that meet the needs of your schedule. You determine, when, where, and at what speed you complete this course.
