Description: This Procurement U online course is designed to provide a foundational understanding of the development process for Scopes of Work (SOWs).

For the purposes of this course, a Scope of Work is defined as a section of a solicitation describing the public entity’s requirements or the problem for which the public entity needs a solution. The course examines the different elements of a Scope of Work, steps involved in the development process, and strategies for drafting and reviewing a Scope of Work.
